Directions for use: Place candles in the center of the Décor Mate surface protector at least 1.5 inches from rim to avoid dripping over the sides. Do not place Décor Mate directly on open flames, wood burning stoves, in the oven or on any heated surface. Décor Mates are flame resistant. Décor Mates are stain retardant and are made from 100% food grade silicone material. Dishwasher safe or wash with hot water. Product can be used under wine bottles and water pitchers and are completely safe to use on high chair trays. DécorMates may be be used as a trivet for hot pots, but not as a potholder. Do not burn candles to the end or leave burning candles unattended.
Warning: Use only as directed. Misuse of this product may cause serious bodily injury and damage to property. Décor Mates are not fireproof and have a maximum heat tolerance of 400˚F. Use of this product with metal base wick candles or metal based tea-lights is not recommended as such bases greatly exceed the product’s heat tolerance when exposed to candle flame. Décor Mate is not responsible for any misuse or accidents that may occur with the use of this product, including but not limited to product damage, burn damage to underneath surface or any other type of damage or injury that may occur due to lack of care and attention when using this product.
